Ted Lasso

Ted Lasso is an American comedy developed by Bill Lawrence, Jason Sudeikis, Joe Kelly, and Brendan Hunt, and based on a character of the same name Sudeikis first portrayed in a series of promos for NBC Sports' coverage of the Premier League. It's first ten-episode season premiered on Apple TV on August 14, 2020. A second twelve-episode season began on July 23, 2021. A third season is planned.

The story is of Ted Lasso, a college-level American football coach who is unexpectedly recruited to coach an English Premier League team, AFC Richmond, despite having no experience in football (soccer).
